Hey 👋, I'm Mayura (Andrew) Alahakoon—a passionate Software Engineering undergraduate and prospective graduate student from Sri Lanka with a deep curiosity for open-source technologies and innovative software solutions. As an aspiring researcher, I'm focusing on applied AI research, currently reading papers to find a research area for graduate study, while exploring how technology can drive meaningful, sustainable societal impact. My journey revolves around relentless learning, experimenting with diverse tools and technologies, and contributing to the open-source community (currently an active contributor to the GoMLX (opens in a new tab) project, learning and getting hands-on experience), which I firmly believe is the future of Software Engineering.
